About The University
Founded in 1944, the Bukovinian State Medical University is the greatest higher educational institutes established in the city of Chernivtsi. Providing different levels of educational programs in various fields, the university is a completely non-profit public institute and is recognized by World Health Organization, National Medical Commission, Magna Charta Universitatum, Italy, European University Association, Association of the Carpathian Region Universities and various others.
BSMU has successfully graduated 30 thousands+ students form years. The beautiful campus infrastructure serves 6 faculties and 49 departments. Along with an educational-producing chemist, the university also has a center of stimulation medicine and innovation technologies. There are almost 5800 students currently studying in the university that includes 1800 foreign students.
Linked up with the internet, the Bukovinian State Medical University is well-equipped with modern technologies in their Lecture halls, laboratories, classrooms and educational-practical pharmacy. With excellent didactic skills, the university has a unique staff with professionals that include 103 doctors of science, 422 candidates of science, 80 professors, 245 associate professors, and a senior scientific research assistant.
