About The University

One of the oldest higher educational establishments in Ukraine, Kharkiv National Medical University was founded in 1805. For more than a couple of centuries, the university is proving a highly qualified education to its students. The university is the root of many talented medical professionals for years.

Kharkiv National Medical University, also known as KNMU offers aspirants graduate and postgraduate degrees in medicine, pharmacy, nursing and dentistry. Students attain training practically from the 3rd year of medicine in the affiliated hospitals of Kharkiv city. Since 1951, almost 7,500 have successfully graduated from the KNMU serving the society of mankind as doctors, physicians and surgeons.

Fee Structure 2021-2022

Kharkiv National Medical University offers a six years course for the aspirants planning to pursue MBBS. It’s a non-profit university serving students for years with highly modified teaching systems.

For studying medicine in KNMU in English medium, the tuition fee every year is 4800 USD i.e., 3,55,770 INR. The fee for accommodation in the university per year costs around 600-1300 USD. The Medical check-up and Medical Insurance are 100-150 USD each.

Hostel Facilities and Food

Kharkiv National Medical University offers outstandingly the best hostel facilities with well-furnished rooms. The University has hostels set up nearby, concentrating on aspects such as student security. The hostels in KNMU features 24-7 access to emergency services and security. How to Apply

Students should submit the following documents to get an n invitation letter from the University:

  • Filled application form
  • Copy of international passport
  • Copy of the certificate of the higher secondary school

After receiving the invitation letter, the students are supposed to submit these documents:

  • International passport with Ukraine study visa
  • Application to enter the University
  • Original copy of the certificate of the Secondary School and a copy of the same translated in Ukrainian
  • Medical Certification
  • Insurance Policy
  • 8 photos of the student (4*8)
  • Receipt of the payment of first-year tuition fees
