Nicolae Testemitanu State University of Medicine and Pharmacy of the Republic of Moldova, also known as USMF is a 76-year-old medical university in Eastern Europe. Approved by MCI and WHO, USMF serves 6000+ students studying from 33 countries all over the World. It provides students with Eastern Europe’s best stimulation centers in medical training.

The Institute was established on October 20, 1945, serving as an authority for the development of higher medical education and improvement of the health system of the Moldovan Republic. USMF has seen a significant expansion over the last 70 years with the major program and facility developments.

Alma Mater of more than 40000 doctors and pharmacists, USMF owns well-equipped classrooms, modern hostels, and contemporary fitness and sports complexes. The University offers a good quality education in English medium focused especially on practical training.

The University teaches its students adopting modern international training techniques and educational perception with a priority on the academic process and advanced concepts of analysis and synthesis. The University Center of Information ‘Infomedica’ was established in 2002 to add up to more than one million publications of books and other sources of modern information. An important role is played by the Medical Scientific Library in the training research process.

The faculty of general medicine at this prestigious university has the winning equation for preparing the students to clear USMLE and integrate them into the hospital system.

To improve the student-teacher relationship, USMF permits a ratio of 1:15 in the first year (1 teacher per 15 students). This further reduces to 1:9 ratios. All the exams and tests conducted in the university are computer-based as per international standards.

  • School Leave Certificate (Transfer Certificate).
  • Birth Certificate.
  • International Passport.
  • Certificate of Criminal Activity by Local Police (Absence of any Criminal Background).
  • Certificate of Creditworthiness from the bank in Moldova.
  • 10 photographs (3X4).
  • Application of the aspirant.
