Founded in 1930, S.D. Asfendiyarov Kazakh National Medical University is among the oldest medical schools established in Kazakhstan.  It has got various recognitions from the republic of Kazakhstan due to its best services in every course it offers. KazNMU is rated top 6 in the list of the best Universities in the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Established in the city of Almaty, the university got the name ‘Kazakh National University’ in the year 2001 by the government of Kazakhstan. The University offers several courses on bachelor’s, master’s and doctorates level. With the best infrastructure, the university is well-equipped with modernized medical instruments.  With almost 1500 expert and renowned faculty, KazNMU currently has almost 11,000 students studying in the university.

Fee Structure 2021-2022

S.D. Asfendiyarov Kazakh National Medical University offers a 6-year MBBS course for its students. The first year of the course is for pre-med, rest 4 for basic sciences and clinical rotations. The medium for teaching is English for international students at KazNMU.

The tuition fee offered by the Kazakh National Medical University is extremely affordable. The tuition fee each year for 6 years is $5000 and $300 as hostel fee annually is designed by KazNMU. For visa extensions and medical insurance, the university charges $500 in the first year and $300 for the remaining 5 years. 

In Indian Rupees, the total fee lies between 4lakhs (approx.) annually.

How to Apply

Like any other educational institute, Kazakh National Medical University has an eligibility criterion. The students willing to get admitted to the university must be above 17 years of age and have scored 70% (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology) from any board of examination.

Step – 1: Firstly, the students are supposed to fill in the application form available online on the official website of Kazakh National Medical University.

Step – 2: Fill in the required fields appropriately.

Step – 3: The processing period to get the admission letter would almost take 3-4 working days. Wait for it.

Step – 4: Once the application is accepted by the officials, there will be an invitation letter sent to the aspirant.

Step – 5: Apply for a visa once you receive the invitation letter.

Step – 6: Later after you receive the visa, your arrival dates will be fixed.
